I had the pleasure of working with Chiron Communications on the Houston Phase II Light Rail Project, completed in February 2015 (with Revenue Service scheduled for April 2015). While on the project, Ron’s team installed and tested more than 900 splices along the right-of-way of Houston METRO’s four expansion corridors. Splices were completed in a variety of location types, ranging from manholes and pullboxes to control cabinets, signaling houses, and LAN rooms. In addition 244 splices were completed aerially for connections to cameras and wireless devices.
Throughout the project the entire Chiron Communications team conducted themselves with professionalism and respect. Ron’s team remained flexible when faced with the difficult scheduling demands of this fast-paced project. They continue to conduct all of their business with Mass Electric in a fair and equitable manner.
